We’ve all had our our kinds of painful experiences that have tested us more than we thought we could take at the time. In those challenging times, few things can bring you more comfort than the steady arms of a soulmate friend or lover, holding you through the suffering, telling you they love you, and making you feel better, if only for having them with you. With that kind of nurturing love, a weary soul feels less alone, and thereby has more hope for change.
